Deliberately Delightful Company was born from a vision to blend wellness, technology, and philanthropy into a force for good. Founded by Mary Long, the journey began with a deep commitment to mental health reformation and nonviolence. I always wanted to be a dance teacher and psychology doctor. I chose Integrative Medicine as my path because it aligns with naturopathic and holistic medicine. Of course, I have danced since I was less than 2 years old. I was exposed to East Indian Dancing at age 5 and began yoga training my freshman year of college. I took yoga teacher training in 2014.

As a Doctoral Candidate in Integrative Medicine and a graduate with a B.S. in Mathematics from Drexel University (2011), I merged my love for data science and engineering with holistic practices like yoga and Reiki. This unique blend led me to create a 100% woman-owned LLC registered as a federal contractor, serving government agencies with expertise in healthcare IT, cybersecurity, and predictive analytics.

The turning point came during a sabbatical in the Amazon Rainforest, where I partnered with indigenous tribes like the Shuar and Mayan - Aztec. Witnessing their languages absent from global platforms like Google Translate inspired an AI/ML project to preserve their culture. This mission, paired with my work on Be In the Conversation—a book focused on soldier suicide prevention and holistic healing—solidified Deliberately Delightful’s purpose. Today, we offer yoga classes, integrative nutrition, and technical consulting, all while pursuing innovative projects to empower communities worldwide.

With ongoing Data Science studies at MIT and past team-matches to YouTube Engineering roles (Java, C++, Python ML), I’m leveraging my technical skills to drive this vision forward. From signed copies of my book to partnerships with indigenous governments, every step reflects our dedication to delight and progress.
